• To manage and bring to use for national good, the property registered in the name of King Birendra, Queen Aishwarya and their family members according to Nepal Trust Act, 2064.
• To protect and use the movable and immovable property now in the custody of Nepal Trust and such property to be acquired henceforth now and into the distant future.
• To look for such property that falls into the area of the Trust and manage such property that is acquired through donors.

• Proper management and maintenance of the assets of Nepal Trust.
• To bring all the properties of late King Birendra, late Queen Aishwarya and their families within Nepal as well as abroad that should to be the property of Nepal Trust according to the Ordinance of establishment and record their exact details.
• To legally establish the rights of Nepal Trust on the property of late King Birendra, late Queen Aishwarya and revoke the rights of trustees and there of. 
• To use the property of the Trust in accordance with the law in the national interest and earn income for the social benefit.
• Conduct and perform the operation as provisioned.

Nepal Trust has land as well as physical property in 12 different districts across Nepal. They are 1. Kathmandu, 2. Bhaktapur, 3. Lalitpur, 4. Kavreplanchowk, 5. Sindhupalchowk, 6. Makawanpur, 7. Nuwakot, 8. Dhading, 9. Chitwan, 10. Kaski, 11. Surkhet, 12. Dhankuta

Nepal Trust has in total of 21562–4–2–1 ropanies of land in 12 different districts.

The purpose for the formation of Nepal Trust Ececutive Committee is to grant as an autonomous and organized legal entity with an undivided succession. The Executive committee will be responsible for the management and the operation of Nepal Trust according to the ordinance 2064 (2007).
